Welcome to Output! This a WOW CATA raiding guild with a focus on, you guessed it, output. We charge all of our raid members to contribute to, and abide by an ethic of high performance. However, this is not a hardcore raiding guild. This is a 'business-casual' guild. What this means is that we do not need to devote a significant (or any) portion of our real lives preparing to raid, but when it comes to raid time, we treat it with professionalism, diligence, and above average playing skill. Our goal is not to be the top raiding guild on the server. Our goal is to clear all raiding content efficiently.

This guild was created to meet a niche in the raiding market. There are a lot of people that play this game at a high level- without the time or will to devote to preparing for a hardcore raid environment. These people usually settle into casual guilds and are left frustrated with the slow pace that content is cleared and the carrying of people that simply aren't as good at button-clicking. Output is an opportunity for those like-minded players to get together a few hours a week and get down to the business of killing bigger and better monsters. Output strives for openness, transparency, and minimalism. For the bad experiences with guild leadership and loot people have had in the past, Output is trying to eliminate those questions and doubts before-hand so those issues literally can't exist.

Membership to Output, especially a raiding position, is based on personal performance during the raid and the manner in which one conducts oneself during the raid. Performance of each raid member will be analyzed, critiqued, and judged by the officers of this guild. This will be as objective as unbiased as possible, and it's pretty easy to spot raiders that aren't up to the same level as their peers. There won't be any carried members. Please only join Output if you know yourself to be an above-average player when it comes to raiding. Output has the mindset that it is easier, and healthier long term, to gear up a high-skilled fresh 80 than it is to make a well-geared, poor-performing raider better at the game. As much as we will judge our members on raiding output, we will not judge our members on raiding input. If you can raid log and still knock it out the park, great! If you have to spend half a week preparing to raid to barely barely meet the bar, that's up to you and keep it up! We don't demand anything from anyone except raid times, skillfulness, and industrious attitudes, and that is what you will get from the guild in return. For expectations of conduct- be professional, be pleasant, and be diplomatic. Listen to the raid leader. Bring up issues and questions in chats and messages, not on discord during a raid
