Mission Statement / Team Identity:
Who are we? We’re a group of competitive, dedicated, and competent players who strive to complete every piece of content in Wrath of the Lich King has to offer on a consistent, weekly basis. Our expectation as a group is that we are skilled enough as a team and as individual players that we can clear all content and most achievements in all upcoming phases in WotLK. Put simply, we are progression raiders and achievement getters. We do all of this with a focus on progression and self-accountability, first and foremost. We show up each week for each other and to push each other towards glory.
Our goal is to complete the newest content each week smoothly and efficiently, with an emphasis on consistency and progression. Once we have learned each fight and are completing them without issue each week, then we'll move to the hard modes. Once a new phase drops, we will focus on that phase’s content and will no longer focus on old raids.
In order to achieve these goals each week, our expectations are thus:
- Raids are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesdays, 8:30 - 12 pm ST / EST
- Members are expected to make the majority of raid nights. Attendance to scheduled raids should be at least 85% or we will fail as a group.
- If you cannot attend one or both raid nights, please give Scharlette or one of our officers AT LEAST 24 hours notice so that we can adjust as needed. More than 1 no call no show = permanent bench until we are given valid reason for the absence. We need you to try and be consistent with attendance.
- If you have a job or a life that does not allow for such luxuries as 24 hours notice, please just message one of us so that we can work something out and at least know what to expect from you.
- Communication and participation are extremely important. Please read discord and participate in strategy discussions when they happen. In order for us to succeed as a group, we need to work together and that sometimes means discussion outside of normal raid time.
- Chat Rules during raid: We’re here to not only here to have fun, but to progress; comms are free during trash pulling and breaks. When we approach bosses or when we’re clearly trying to discuss strategy, please clear comms except for raid lead and officers so that we can stay focused.
- Preparation is a must. That means you need to come to each raid knowing your character/spec as well as the boss fights very well. This also means watching videos or any content ahead of time before raid. Each person is expected to show up with perspective flasks/elixirs and haste/wild magic potions for raid.
- Performance: we expect a minimum of a blue parse, 60th percentile. Anything less will result in an individual meeting with raid lead/officers and a talk on how to improve. If your performance does not improve within 1 weeks you will be benched. This is based on the idea that we need everyone to pull their own weight.
